This
section offers two series of lessons that were developed
by Mrs. Joyce Watke for use in morning seminars in churches
during our years of traveling. The first series, Choosing
God's Way, deals with basic principles and choices
that a woman has to make in her home. The second, Being
Friends, analyzes various facets of friendship, pitfalls,
and joys of friendship. These series are very useful for
mentoring relationships, discipling of new believers,
and for small group Bible studies.
A
series of lessons by Mrs. Joyce Watke: This
series of 13 lessons bring together concepts and Bible
principles for us as women to live by Each of us is
faced with daily choices, some serious and perplexing,
some unnoticed or seemly unimportant. God has promised
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God
that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him (or her)." James 1:5
May these studies guide you to finding answers for your
questions.
A
series of lessons by Mrs. Joyce Watke: Do
you ever wonder if it's right to have a close friend?
Why are you drawn to some people and not to others?
Who should you try to befriend? How can you be a better
friend? Questions such as these were directed at me
from many women across the United States. These questions
and others you may have are the foundation of this 8
lesson study on Biblical Friendship.
A
sermon by Dr. Watke. The word, Mother, is one
of the most beautiful words in any language. It is one
of the first words that we learn to say as a babe. There
is power in this dear word. Thank God for what consecrated,
praying, Christian mothers have meant to the world. The
most influential person on earth is a mother.
